Day 2: First Day of Competition

We had two rounds of pleadings on the first day -- at 9am, our Applicants faced off against a Middle Eastern country, and at 4:30pm, our Respondents went up against a Caribbean nation. (Jessup rules only allow us to reveal the country names once the competition is over.) After each round, we presented the opposing teams with a gift from Germany -- a mixed pack of Ritter Sport -- and received gifts from the other countries in return.

Afterwards, it was off to prepare for the second day of competition tomorrow, in which our Applicants face off against one of our European rivals.
